Netflix is going to hike the subscription fees from $9.99 to $10.99.
Why? Netflix claimed that the future would be about the original content. The company is going to spend $8 billion on its original content in 2018; therefore, it needs our money to fund the project.
Netflix is up more than 57% so far year to date.
Today’s rate hike news did not affect the stock price very much. I suppose $1 increase per month is insignificant to us after all.
