Bitcoin is moving higher again after the commencement of its futures contracts trading on CBOE.
Two of the leading exchanges for Bitcoin trading suffered some outages on Tuesday. Bitfinex said it was “under heavy” denial of service attack and that its application programming interface was down. While Coinbase said that it was suffering from a “partial system outage.” Both companies have struggled to keep up with the surge of the interest in the Bitcoin trading.
The spot market of Bitcoin was up slightly today, and yet possibly another record close. The record high was set on December 7, which was $19,697. The previous record close was $17,390.01 on December 7, too. If it can close above $17,390.01 today, it will be a record close.
